Jim Burdick is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Masters degree.   His practice includes Christian counseling, talk therapy, and energy psychology a relaxation technique known as EFT.  Jim has been counseling since July 2001.   He accepts several insurances and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).

In addition to practicing individual and couples/marriage counseling Jim has had nearly one hundred hours of training in EFT.  He uses EFT energy psychology for both physical and emotional problems and is successful about 70% of the time.  Clients generally are surprised how quickly and effectively it clears up their specific problem.

Many people suffer daily from chronic pain needlessly.

• A client reported that he had rheumatoid arthritis in his back and was amazed how Jim gave him relief in just a few moments.  Following the treatment he was trained how to self–treat himself upon recurring pain.
• A client complained of chronic knee pain and was also amazed how quickly the pain went away with treatment.   Several months later the client said, “I don't know how you did it but I have been pain–free ever since.”
• A client reported that his right hip was worn out and needed surgery.  The treatment removed all pain in just a couple minutes.  The following week he reported that he was pain–free for the rest of the day.   He was effectively treated again just as quickly during that session.
• The Missouri State Licensure Board sent an investigator to investigate Jim's claims and was satisfied that he used no medicines in his treatment.  At the end of the meeting, the investigator reported chronic back pain because one leg was shorter than the other.  He too was amazed how quickly and completely the pain vanished after being treated.  Apparently the state board is satisfied with the legitimacy of treatment because there was no further contact thereafter.

Jim is so confident that he can provide pain relief that he will not charge for the treatment unless the client is satisfied that some relief was provided.  Also the client will be trained how to self–treat recurring pain.   Thus one session may be all that is required.
